Every submitted paper will be subjected to plagiarism check through Turnitin.
There are no clear-cut rules or consensus on what percentage of similarity is acceptable in a manuscript. But, in general, a similarity below 15% is acceptable and that of above 25% is regarded as a high percentage of plagiarism.
Nevertheless, similarity reports simply highlight any matching areas in a manuscript against plagiarism checker’s databases. Therefore, our editors will use this as an investigative tool to determine if the similarity is acceptable or not.
